    I had the pleasure (and pain) of having John V for a personal trainer for several months. He definitely helped me achieve my fitness and strength goals by concentrating on technique, pushing me (with positive encouragement) to places I dared not go on my own, and patiently teaching me activities I could tackle on my own to keep it up outside of the gym. All this with a great sense of humour and never pushing me so hard that I wouldn’t feel up to coming to the gym the next day. Highly recommended by this leaner, stronger, durable lady!

    If you don’t like the regular boring gym class, you need to try a day with John! Professional, funny & he understands what your goals are and what is your life style. Grazie John!

    I ALWAYS leave sessions with John energized and educated. He’s not afraid to share ALL of the information he gleams from both academic sources as well as his own mentors! His no BS attitude is accompanied by a one-of-a-kind humour that keeps me laughing as I sweat. I have seen my speed and agility increase, along with better over all coordination; not to mention the aesthetics that accompany those benefits.

    John is a never ending pool of knowledge and humility, whose programs are built with specificity and originality. His exercises keep me guessing but are always geared towards my personal goals and keep in mind the arch of my fitness journey.

    I’ve been working with John for about a month now as a post ACL recovery/rehab patient. My surgery was July 29th and since I began working with John I’ve seen incredible gains! Had my appointment with the Surgeon and he was shocked at how far along I am at this point of my recovery. I credit the program that John has built for me. He has been tough on me yet extremely careful about what I am feeling in regards to my knee. His methods are outstanding and I am confident that I will be back to competitive sports much sooner than I had originally expected thanks to John. I also believe that I will return in better condition than I was prior to my injury because of his sports specific training knowledge.

    John is an amazing Personal Trainer! He has an incredible wealth of knowledge and he develops challenging programs that are catered to the specific individual needs of his clients. The sessions I had with John were carefully planned and targeted directly to my fitness goals. I was extremely motivated because he carefully explained each exercise to me, and what muscles I was strengthening and why that was going to help me reach my fitness goals. John is passionate about health and fitness and he really cares that his clients get the best programs possible. He motivates with kindness and humor, which really helped me get through some of the more challenging exercises. I can honestly say that John made it fun to work out! Laughter was the key motivator for me:) I would highly recommend John to anyone that is ready to get in the best shape of their lives!

    I began working with John 5 months ago in order to push past the plateau I’d hit in my own work outs. Since then, John has improved my form tenfold, challenged me immensely and encouraged me to do things I never dreamed of being able to do. He’s made me realize that I’m much stronger than I ever thought and has helped me set new fitness goals. With his encouragement and strength training behind me, I was finally able to complete my first 1/2 marathon since having a baby, something I’ve been wanting to do for 5 years but couldn’t mentally get there. John manages to be a tough and no nonsense trainer with the perfect amount of humour and sarcasm that make sessions enjoyable. Thanks John!

    I’ve known John for over 3 years, within the fist year of working with him, I lost 16-18 lbs and started to fit into sizes that I used to wear 10 years prior. All of a sudden I started to see that 6 pack I had not seen for many years. For me, a couple of real benefits of working with John where: 1: He really knows his industry and body mechanics very well. 2: His focus is on helping me to get to the results I wanted in the time I wanted through hard work in the gym, AND education. 3: His humor coupled with his expectation of constant improvement and dedication from me.

    When all is said and done, any results I achieved are down to me and my commitment to do the work; However, I would never have achieved (and continue to improve) what I have done without the exceptional dedication, hard work, deep knowledge and motivational skills, which John clearly has. I would highly recommend John to anyone who wants to truly make a change in his or her lives and are committed to fitness. However, be prepared to work hard and don’t cut corners, if you do that consistently, John will get you there without any injury and you will be left with the education to keep yourself on track and make your changes sustainable. Thank you John.

    I have been working with John for just over a year and it’s been a long time since I’ve stuck with an exercise regimen for this length of time. I love his enthusiasm, sense of humour and ability to get me going when it’s the last thing in the world I want to do. John is incredibly knowledgeable on bio mechanics and physiology and is happy to explain over and over again why all of those squats are really good for you. Most importantly though, John has given me back my love of boxing and, after all these years, the desire to improve my technique. He’s the guy to go to if you want to work hard and feel it the next day.

    John has been my trainer for about a year now, and he is fantastic! His boxing workouts are both fun and challenging and I always leave feeling less stressed out and with more energy! He’s very knowledgeable and keeps our workouts interesting and rewarding. He understands injuries and physical limitations (I have frequent knee dislocations) and always checks to see how I’m feeling before certain exercises. I also have a crazy work schedule and he always does his best to accommodate me. He’s the best!

    Hes helped me learn and understand everything I need to know to achieve my goals!
    I can’t wait to further see my results over this next year!
    So far I’ve lost almost 40lbs with Hus guidance!

    I’ve been training with John for a couple years now and I couldn’t be more happy with my results. He’s helped me increase my mobility and overall strength and with many laughs along the way. He makes training bearable! I highly recommend his service.

    John is a Great trainer! I have lost a great amount of weight so far. I have been working with him for 4 months now. He uses different exercises all customized to my needs. I highly recommend him to any type of client.

    John is the first trainer I’ve ever had that I don’t dread seeing. On top of being down to earth and fun to train with, he has excellent knowledge in injury rehab and has helped me work through some previous injuries. During training sessions, we do a combo of Muay Thai and weights and I can say with confidence that I wouldn’t be as strong or lean without his guidance. Thanks John!

    I started Muay Thai boxing with John about 10 months ago to complement my weights training.
    He is a really fantastic trainer, very patient, knowledgable, motivating, and extremely fun! I don’t recall even one session when we didn’t share some good laughs together!
    He has definitely helped me to increase my physical conditioning, confidence, and more importantly made me a fan of Muay Thai…Thank you 🙂

    I’ve had rotator issues for the past I don’t know how many years. I met with John and had a few sessions with him on my road to rehabilitation. Who would have thought that the excecises we work with, resolved my issues. And I continue to implement them in my daily routine to avoid any future injuries. Freaking love this guy! Thanks for the gift of mobility John!

    I have really enjoyed my time, working out with John. It’s a combination of fun and hard work. He is interested and detail oriented which makes it easy to make progress in a safe manner. His personality is just an added bonus to the process. I have really felt myself grow stronger in the time I have spent with him.

    I’ve been working with John for 2 months to help me with recurring Achilles and hamstring injuries cause by running. With John’s help today I exceeded my goal race time at Around the Bay 30k road race. As a runner I cannot understate the importance of core strength training. John is both experienced and dedicated to your cause to help you reach your goals. I look forward to working with John to help me make my return to marathon running this fall.

    John is an exceptional trainer. He is naturally upbeat which is great to motivate his clients to reach for their own personal next level. He is careful and so under his direction for more than two years I have never been injured. He offers an outstanding mix understanding of the latest training techniques, physiology,genuine interest and concern for the client and nutrition.

    I’ve been training with John since December of last year. My goal when I started with him was to lose 30 lbs. I’d been going to the gym for years, but with no results. John has taught me how to get the most out of my workouts, maximizing my results. I’m currently down 55lbs in 10 months, and just signed up for another 10 sessions. All I can say is, thanks John for never letting me quit, and inspiring me to push pass my limits and reach my true potential.

    There is no nicer, genuine and caring trainer than John.

    John is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more advanced exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts.
    Importantly:
    – He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries.
    – He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned.
